Many parents ask me what can we do to help our child? Start with staying in touch the their teachers on a biweekly bases. Make sure that homework and projects are completed on time and weekly. Falling behind makes it difficult to catch up. If you understand what the classwork schedule then you can hold your child accountable for completing the assisgnment as well as schedule any home support they may need. Remember you guys have more control over how this partnership looks.
